She was born in Indiana but spent most of her childhood in Berea, Kentucky. She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith.
She is survived by her son: Tony Isaacs of Winter Springs, Florida; daughter: Tonya Isaacs of Spring Hill, Florida; sisters: Patsy Anderson of Alabama; Pauline Hise of Florida; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
