Nellie Anne Gray

GRAY, Nellie Anne, 73, of Weeki Wachee, Florida passed away September 19, 2022 at Oak Hill Hospital. Anne was born March 26, 1949 in Wise County, Virginia. She later moved to Ohio with her family and then to Florida with her husband. she enjoyed her life as a homemaker, babysitter, caretaker, daughter, wife, sister, friend and aunt to so many. She always had a smile and a lot of love and laughter to share with everyone. 

Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gray, parents, Murphy and Nell Crawford, brother, Jerry (Minnie) Crawford, sister, Carol (Jack) McConnell, niece, Karen Warren and nephews, Danny Warren and Jeff McConnell. 

She is survived by her sisters and brother-in-law: Sue Coleman; Mary and Bill Waples; nieces: Heidi Ty) Nazelrod, Vicki Cummings, Kendra (Eric) Meadows, Carrie (Tim) Stone; nephews: Joe (Jen) Waples, Larry Foley, Robert (Jodi) Foley and Nick McConnell; 25 great nieces and nephews, 37 great-great nieces and nephews, many cousins, friends and extended family. She is also survived by her loving friend, Robert Kelly. She will be loved and missed by us all. 

Visitation will be from 10-11:30am, Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Merritt Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 11:30am with Deacon Eric Makoid officiating. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
