Newton L. Sullivan

SULLIVAN, Newton L., age 76 of Brooksville, FL died Friday, November 26, 2010 at his home.  He moved to Brooksville in 1947 from his native, Doniphan, Missouri.  He was a retired electrician, was formerly employed with Bray’s Pest Control and as a Gulf Life Insurance Agent.  He was U.S. Army Veteran, member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Brooksville, an avid bowler at Louie’s Bowling Center and was a Charter Member of Brooksville Golf & Country Club.  Survivors include his wife:  Illma Bond Sullivan; sons & daughters-in-law:  Ronnie & Janet Sullivan of Ocoee, FL and Richie & Toni Sullivan of Brooksville, FL; brothers & sisters-in-law:  John & Jackie Sullivan of Lynchburg, VA, Jack & Barbara Sullivan of Tallahassee, FL and Bobby & Bonnie Sullivan of Brooksville, FL; sister & brother-in-law:  Virginia Sullivan & John Wanat of Brooksville, FL; grandchildren:  Ronnie Sullivan, Jr., Zach Sullivan, Kristen Sullivan & Lauren Sullivan.  Visitation for friends will be 2 – 4 & 6 – 8pm, Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.  Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am, Monday, November 29, 2010 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Brooksville with Rev. Chris Mundell officiating.  Interment will follow at Lake Lindsey Cemetery, Brooksville.
