He was a truck driver and a U.S. Navy veteran. He is survived by his mother: Mary Pugliese of Brooksville, FL; daughters: Allison Sass of Sunrise, FL; Stephanie Valiente of Jacksonville, FL; brother: Joseph Pugliese of Colorado; sisters: Ann Bartholomew of Tallahassee, FL; Linda Nichols of Gainesville, FL; Nora Mandler of New Jersey; 2 granddaughters: Rylie and Bailey Sass of Sunrise, FL. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery.
