He was born on April 1, 1964, in Louisville, Kentucky to Martin Sr. and Dorothy Sapp. Paul was a gentle soul with a kind heart who treated everyone he met with kindness. More than anything, he loved his family. He was a devoted father and grandfather; his children and grandchildren held a very special place in his heart.
Paul loved getting his hands dirty and working on things, especially when it meant spending time with his children. He enjoyed going mudslinging and building motorcycles with his daughter, Tanya, and his son, Tony. He also spent many memorable hours customizing his Jeep with his son, Andrew. For Paul, these were more than hobbies—they were ways to spend time with the people he loved and create memories together.
Paul also had a deep interest in Native American culture and artifacts. He enjoyed learning about the history and culture and collecting pieces that connected him to it.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Martin Sr. and Dorothy Sapp; his sons, Tony and Timothy; and his brothers, Gerry Sapp and Christopher Sapp. He is survived by his son, Paul Andrew Sapp II (Erica); his daughter, Tanya (Michael); his beloved grandchildren; his brothers, Martin Jr. (Debbie) and Joseph (Tina); his sister, Yolanda (Leonard); and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. The family will hold a celebration of Paul's life at a later date. For additional information, please contact a member of the family.
