Pauline V. Chorvat

CHORVAT, Pauline V., age 89 of Masaryktown, FL died Thursday, March 1, 2012 at HPH Hospice Care Center.  She came here 64 years ago from her native, Amherst, Massachusetts.  She was a retired receptionist for the dental office of Dr. Chan Springstead and enjoyed bowling, golfing, ceramics, sewing, traveling and taking cruises.  She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene of Spring Hill, former Mayor of Masaryktown, former president of the Brooksville Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association, president and active member of the Masaryktown Recreation Club, and member of the Masaryktown Volunteer Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary.  Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law:  Douglas, Sr. & Linda Chorvat of Brooksville, FL and Stanley & Isabel Chorvat of Masaryktown, FL; daughters & sons-in-law:  Vikki & Larry Farrow of Spring Hill, FL and Kelly & Ted Drier of Tallahassee, FL; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  Memorial services will be conducted 3:00pm, Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to HPH Hospice.
