Rena Ernestine Kapavik

She was born in Pendleton, Texas and came to Brooksville 20 years ago from California.  She worked as a hotel manager for Invest West Management Company and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel Kapavik; her parents, Ernest & Laura Hudnall; and her sisters, Ora Clements and Alice Westbrook.  She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Eileen Kapavik of Brooksville, Florida and Karen "Kim" & Kurt Heeren of Rexburg, Idaho; sister, Billie George of St. Angelo, Texas; grandchildren, Nicole Buyter (Jared) of Rexburg, Idaho and Darcie Mattson (Elijah) of Star Valley Ranch, Wyoming; and six great-grandchildren.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00-2:00pm, Tuesday, January 12, 2020 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.  A Graveside Service will follow at Brooksville Cemetery.
