He was born August 20, 1943 in Honaker, Virginia and came to Spring Hill two and a half years ago from Clearwater, Florida where he resided for over 50 years. He served his country in the National Guard and was a Civil Engineer for the City of Dunedin and Pinellas County. He was an avid reader of sci-fi and newspapers, loved bicycling and rode his bike 25 miles to and from work every day; enjoyed meteorology, and was a loyal Yankee fan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debra Callahan; son, Matthew Callahan of Manchester, Ohio; daughters and son-in-law, Alshia Callahan, Marcie Lewis of Caledonia, Michigan, and Jessica & Chris Cannino of Spring Hill, Florida; grandchildren, Taya Cannino and Brandon Cannino; and great-grandchild, Ava Cannino.
