SPENCER, Richard, age 80, of Spring Hill, FL died Thursday, September 28, 2017 at his home. He was born in Liberty, New York and came to the area 6 years ago from Port Jervis, NY. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a supervisor in the manufacturing industry. He was a member of the VFW in New York and a Baptist by faith. He is survived by his wife of 43 years: Erma Spencer of Spring Hill, FL; sons and daughter-in-law: Harry and Carol Babcock of Dundee, FL; Richard Jr., and David Spencer, both of New York; daughter: Diane DeGroat of Pennsylvania; brother and sister-in-law: Vernon and Sally Spencer; sister: Carol Stuhmer, all of New York; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
