ALLEN, Robert L., age 64, of Brooksville, FL died Saturday, March 15, 2014 at his home. He was born in Green Bay, WI and came to the area 27 years ago from Plant City, FL. He was a residential and commercial carpenter and Protestant by faith. He is survived by wife: Mary E. Allen of Brooksville, FL; daughters: Susanne Neisler and Lisa Allen, both of Brooksville, FL; brothers: Darrel Allen, Jr., of Appleton, WI; Peter Allen; John Allen of Tomahawk, WI; Kenneth Allen of Brooksville, FL; Paul Allen of Chelan, WA; Dennis Allen of Russia; sisters: Mary Heffner of Cleveland, TN; Deborah Jones of Jamestown, KY; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation for friends will be 4-6pm, Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the Merritt Funeral Home Brooksville Chapel with services beginning at 5:15pm.
