Robert Paul Caso

CASO, Robert P., Sr., age 76 of Brooksville (& formerly of Brookridge) passed away Monday, January 6, 2014 at Brooksville Regional Hospital. Born in Whippany, NJ he came to this area 27 years ago from East Rutherford, NJ. He was the owner of a trucking company and a US Army Korean Conflict Veteran. He was predeceased by his wife: Mary Joan. Survivors include his sons: Robert P. Caso, Jr of Leesburg & Charles Caso of Spring Hill; daughters: April Ishak of Havre de Grace, MD & Christine Stewart of Spotsylvania, VA; sisters: Carol Liptak, Frances Vetter & Susan Cannata of Toms River, NJ, Tina Socci of Woodbridge, NJ & Janice Lubtekin of Carteret, NJ and 9 grandchildren. A gathering for friends will be 2-4pm & 6-8pm Friday, January 17, 2014 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel.  A funeral mass will be conducted 1pm Sat., January 18, 2014 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Inurnment will take place 11am Monday, January 20, 2014 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's name can be made to the COPD Foundation at www.copdfoundation.org or the United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc. @ www.ostomy.org.
