HILLERICH, Robert Lee, age 86 of Brooksville, FL died Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Brooksville Regional Hospital. He was born in Louisville, KY and came to the area 2 years ago from Palm Harbor, FL. He was a U.S. Navy WWII veteran retiring with the rank of Captain and was also with the Coast Guard auxiliary. He was an educator and was employed as a school teacher, principal, superintendant, and professional textbook writer. He contributed to the Sioux Indian Nation, helping them build schools. He is survived by his wife of 30 years: Dorothy; sons: Robert Jr., of Northbrook, IL; David Lee of Lake Villa, IL; daughters: Connie Ann Norton of North Fort Myers, FL; Judy Ann Kohl of Wilmington, OH; Patricia Ann Allison of Brooksville, FL; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Robert was predeceased by his brother, Joseph. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
