He was born on April 18, 1954 in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Washington, PA in 1980 then retired to Florida in 2013. He was an investigator for 28 years for the Department of Labor Wage and Hour where he investigated overtime and child labor violations. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and attending concerts, but most of all he loved being a doting grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Betty Ann; son and daughter-in-law, Robert (Bob) & Kelli Sorg of Spring Hill, FL; sister, Linda Marler of the Philippines; brother and sister-in-law, Raymond & Carol Sorg of Butler, PA; ; grandson, Rowan James Sorg; and nephews, and Jeffrey Sorg.
