Roy Isaac Stocker

STOCKER, Roy, “Bud” age 84 of Brooksville, FL passed away at his home Friday, March 20th. Bud served his country in the Navy. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather who enjoyed life to the fullest and was always there to help a friend. He enjoyed working on cars with his son, fishing, building things with his own hand, working the farm and spending time with family and friends. He was preceeded in death by his wife of 55 years Edith, grandson Erik Stocker and brothers Hoyt, Ronald and Richard.  Bud is survived by his son: William (Bill) Stocker of Hernando Beach, FL; daughter  and son-in-law: Vickie Sue  and Ervin Blankenship of Walland, TN. 3 grandchildren: Jennie Stocker Person, Mary Pass and Becky Flannery and 6 great-grandchildren: Teddy, Kyle, Dylan, Kayla, Kiersten and Joshua. Visitation for friends will be 9:30-10:30am, Friday, March 27, 2015 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.  A graveside service with military honors will follow at 11:00am at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
