At your service I heard your respiratory therapist tell how you named him your "twin brother". It is no surprise to me that you needed a brother to help you through your time in the hospital....your whole life you had the best brother that ever walked on the face of this earth. To some one who never had a brother to look out for them, watching the connection between you and Darrin was magic. Your big brother was a huge part of making you the great kid we all loved......and the love between the 2 of you will last forever even now that you are in heaven. The hole you left in the world when you left is unpatchable....thank God your family has Darrin to help ease the pain of that hole. God bless you all.

I wanted to express my deepest sympathy to your family. I am the mother of a little boy also in 2nd grade with CF. My heart breaks for you loss.

Words cannot express the sorrow that I feel for you.  No parent should ever have to lose a child.  Our loving Creator knows how hard this is on you.  We are told at Ezekiel 18:32 “‘for I do not take any delight in the death of someone dying, is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord .”  As you can see, He does not like death anymore than we do.  It is not his will for us to die which is why He has given us the hope of everlasting life!  (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Rev. 21:3, 4). As the God and Father of tender mercies, He wants you to find comfort in Him through prayer (2Cor 1:3).

We are so very sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you and your whole family. Scott was blessed to have you for a family. He is with God now, and is enjoying good health in heaven. If you need anything, we are here for you!

i am so sorry for your loss..i wish i would have had the pleasure of knowing him, but i knew his mother for a long time and she is wonderful, so i know he was just as wonderful, my heart is breaking for all of you. i am sending my love and prayers for you...RIP <3 <3
