Loving Mother, Grandmother & Sister
Sheryl passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022 from a long battle with Dementia. She was born on February 18, 1944 to Dorothy and Ralph Beedle who preceded her in passing.
Sher, as known to her family and friends, is survived by her two children, Jon Timothy Moore of Sevierville, Tennessee and Kristine Flaherty of Brooksville Florida; son-in-law, Sean Flaherty along with three amazing grandchildren, Kaylee Flaherty, Jessica Flaherty, and Timothy Flaherty, all of Brooksville Florida. Also, she is survived by six siblings, Morris Beedle with wife Sue, Becky Lindell with husband Chuck, JoLynn Wilmoth, Sally McCombs, Dan Beedle, and Dennis Beedle with wife Kim.
Sher graduated in 1962 from Eisenhower High School. After graduation she married and moved to South Dayton, New York, then to Warren, Pennsylvania, then onto Pompano Beach, Florida with her family. While living in Pompano Beach she owned and operated an alterations business as sewing seemed to be her passion. She also worked in a floral shop where she learned floral design which she had a great talent for. Many of our family tables and family gatherings where graced by the arrangements she made from wildflowers like tiger lilies and Queen Anne's Lace, and she even did the flower arrangements for her daughter’s wedding. They were amazingly beautiful.
Sher loved to travel. Her longest journey in the US was driving from Florida to Alaska where she worked in a gift shop for tourist season and then back to Florida. She loved ocean fishing, scuba diving, and spent a lot of time with friends on the water.
Her next move was to Brooksville, Florida to be close to her daughter and grandchildren whom she supported with her whole heart. She went to all her grandchildren’s school functions, sports events, graduations, etc. She will be missed tremendously by her family. Sher also became a nurse's aide while in Brooksville that led her to taking in a woman who had Parkinson’s Disease to live with her full-time and she cared for her like she was family until she passed.
Sher loved nothing more than gathering her huge family when she came north for visits, she loved a good party!!! She will sorely be missed by her family and friends who love her deeply.
