POLACKWICH, Stephen Daniel., age 69, of Brooksville, FL died Thursday, March 22, 2012 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was born in Biddeford, ME and came to the area 12 years ago from Ceres, CA. He was a member of Brooksville Golf and Country Club. He is survived by his wife: Ercilia Polackwich of Brooksville, FL; sons and daughters-in-law: Edgar and Karen Aquino of Gig Harbor, WA; Louis and Sonia Scacco; David Scacco, all of Delray Beach, FL; daughters and sons-in-law: Claire and Gary Owen of Santa Cruz, CA; Amy and John Silberbauer of Peter Hill, TX; sisters and brothers-in –law: Sheila and Joe Pergl of Burnsville, NC; Jane and Stan Cook of Nebo, NC; aunts: Elaine McGonigle of Saco, ME; Mary Clark of Thousand Oaks, CA; uncle: Alan Polackwich of Vero Beach, FL; 5 grandchildren.   A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HPH Hospice Foundation, 12107 Majestic Blvd., Hudson, FL 34667-2455.
