Steven Paul McCortney

There was never a better guy.  A smile, a joke, a hand, a hand-out.  You could always count on Steve. If something was broke, he'd figure out a way to fix it.  If you were sad, he'd figure out a way to fix that, too.  When there were chores to be done or work to be had to secure a living, Steve was on it.

He cultivated acres of property that he bought; he grew trees; he bred precious critters; he roasted many an oyster and nursed his share of cold beers; but, mostly he loved his family and friends with a full and generous heart.

He was a loving and helpful, son, brother, boyfriend, friend and neighbor.  He loved his stuff!  Cars, trucks, generators, you name it!  He loved his land, but mostly he loved all of you... us.

That was the recurring theme with Steve McCortney, he loved!  

And, you could see it written all over his face.

He is survived by his parents in Ohio, John and Beverlee; his siblings, John, Mike (Cherie) and Mindy.  His girlfriend, Joan Marie Procida.  His neices and nephews, Dylan, Connor, Anna and Lillie.
