Sue C Cole

She married the love of her life, Jerry Cole, on August 13, 1956, and was only days shy of celebrating 67 years of marriage. Sue was the mother of one daughter and "Gammie" to two grandchildren whom she adored. Sue worked at Publix for 15 years, and later, along with her husband, was the proud owner of S & W Cole, Inc., a family-run business that grew into one of the largest pest control companies in Central Florida. Sue was heavily involved in her church, serving as church organist as well as being actively involved with the children's program, the church choir, and Sunday school most of her life. Sue found her greatest joy in serving the Lord.

Sue is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Cole; daughter, Wendy Sue Lanning and her husband, David Lanning; sister, Vicky Alfrey Holaday; grandchildren, Dr. Taylor Woodall (Drew) and Cole Lanning.

They invite you to join them for a homegoing service. The service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church in Brooksville at 10:00am. Arrangements are being handled by Merritt Funeral Home.
