Thomas B. Coon, Jr.

COON, Thomas B., Jr., age 73 of Clarkesville, GA, formerly Spring Hill, FL passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Habersham County Medical Center in Clarkesville, GA. He came to Spring Hill in 1979 from his native Cincinnati, OH and worked in maintenance for Community Hospital, was a US Navy Veteran and member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife: Barbara; sons & daughter-in-law: Thomas William & Alice Coon of Cincinnati and Tony Wayne Coon of Port Richey, FL; daughters & sons-in-law: Vicki  Lynn  & Wayne Booth of Sebastian, FL and Linda Ann & Todd Mattix of Hudson; brother & sister-in-law: John & Becky Coon of Spring Hill; sister: Carol Sutton of Ft. Lauderdale; 8 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. Visitation for friends will be 5-7pm Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel. A graveside service with Military Honors will be conducted 11am Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
