Veneranda V. Cross

Veneranda (Rhonda) passed away peacefully on May 28th, 2026 at the age of 75.

Born on March 29, 1951 in Manila, Philippines, Rhonda lived a life filled with love, kindness, and dedication to her husband, family and friends. She was known for her warm smile, generosity, strength and touched the lives of all who knew her.

Rhonda worked as a LPN and took great pride in caring for others. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping, line dancing, spending time with her family and friends.

Above all, Rhonda cherished her family. She is survived by her brother, Orlando. Her nieces, Lucinda, Lauren, and Danielle; and her step-son, Gary.

Her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched and the love she shared. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be held from 9:30-10:30am, Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Merritt Funeral Home (2 South Lemon Avenue, Brooksville, FL 34601), where a Celebration of Life will begin at 10:30am.
