
Vermland "Verm" Jim Robinett was born March 06, 1930, in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. He was a WWII veteran, he Graduated from East Tennessee State College in 1952.
He moved to Brooksville, Florida in 1954. He worked for 38 years as an authorized Inspector of the Commissioner of Agriculture and the US Department of Agriculture. His passion though was living on his farm, raising cattle, and enjoying the peacefulness of country living.
Verm is preceded in death by his parents, S.S. Robinett (Father) and Addie Robinett (Mother); his wife, Beth Robinett; his son, V. Jim Robinett; and his grandson, Frank Follett. He is survived by his daughter, Angie Thompson (Terry); son, David Robinett (Melissa); daughter-in-law, Joan Robinett (Jim); three grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Verm will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Accent Hospice Care through the Seasons Hospice Foundation. Arrangements by Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville, Florida.
