
BRYANT, Virginia (nee Roush) passed away on April 14, 2005 in Spring Hill, FL. Virginia was born in Rudolph, OH and moved to Wewoka, OK at a young age with parents, Howard and Orpha Roush and brother, Ralph. She was a 40 year resident of Oklahoma, living in Wewoka until 1961, then Norman until 1966. Virginia was an active member of the Wewoka First Christian Church and sang in the choir.In 1966, Virginia moved to Anchorage, Alaska, to work for Mobil Oil in the burgeoning oil and gas industry. She was a 27 year resident of Anchorage and Eagle River, then returned to Wewoka, OK in 1993.In 2002, Virginia gave up her home in Wewoka and spent wonderful time with daughters Dena and Cathy and Grandson Dominic, living with each family member until her passing. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and a much loved member of each family. She left us with great lessons in living a grace-filled life and each of us is a better person for having been a recipient of her unconditional love.Virginia was a member of Beta Sigma Phi for more than 50 years, earning the Order of the Rose, and held many positions in sorority groups both in Oklahoma and Alaska.Virginia was preceded in death by per parents, Howard and Orpha Roush, and brother, Ralph Roush, and husbands T.C.
