Warren Eugene Rape

RAPE, Warren Eugene, “Gene”, age 74 of Brooksville, FL died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at HPH Hospice Care Center.  He was born in Barnesville, GA and came to the area 26 years ago from Danielson, CT.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Grace Brethren Church. He was a member of the American Legion Post #99 and loved to do yardwork and liked to walk, especially in the woods. He is survived by his wife: Marie Rape of Brooksville, FL; sons: James Rape, Norman Rape and Kenneth Rape, all of Danielson, CT; step-son: Arthur Soucy of Brooksville, FL; step-son and daughter-in-law: Douglas and Rachel Perry of Lake Jackson, TX; daughter: Sandra Logan of Brooksville, FL; step-daughters and sons-in-law: Jennifer and Daryl Davidson; Celina and Jose Sullivan, all of Brooksville, FL; Melinda and John Fussell  of Spring Hill, FL; sisters: Martha Ann Cruse of Tampa, FL; Shirley Voy and Myra Lambert, both of Zephyrhills, FL; 22 grandchildren.  Visitation for friends will be 2-4 and 6-8:00pm, Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, where funeral services will be conducted at 10:00am, Monday January 14, 2013. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HPH Hospice.
