Born May 31, 1925 in Forester, Michigan, he came to the area 38 years ago. He was a United States Navy World War II veteran and an over-the-road truck driver. He was Catholic by faith.
He is survived by his sons: Ken Thompson and Russell Thompson; daughters: Mary Bunton, Linda Gayer, Joann Thompson, and Judi Szumiloski; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
