
DUNCAN, William Harvey, age 73 of Brooksville, died Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at his home. He was born in Schroeppel, NY and came here 11 years ago from Phoenix, NY. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, a steel worker with a specialty metal company in Syracuse, NY and a member of the Local #1277. He was a Methodist by faith and a member of the Clover Leaf crime watch, the shuffle board club and the farm club. He is survived by his wife: Linda; sons: William Harvey Duncan Jr., and Laurie Courrier of Rome, NY; John Theodore and Louise Duncan of Homosassa, FL; Donald Ray and Brenda Duncan of Pennellville, NY; Eric Robert Duncan of Jacksonville, FL; daughter: Lynn Ann Duncan Sharp of Phoenix, NY; brothers: James and Larry Duncan; sisters: Kay Togis and Linda DeMan, all of Brooksville, FL; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation for friends will be 4 – 6pm, Monday, September 3, 2012 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, where funeral services will be conducted at 12:30pm, Tuesday, September 4, 2012. A graveside service with military honors will follow at Florida National Cemetery.
