Adonis was born on the 19th day of September 1961, in Huila, Columbia to Hermogenes and Vitalia Poveda. Adonis worked as an upholsterer for 30 years. He had a passion for airplanes, loved to garden and was a 1950’s car enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Poveda; two sons, Adonis Poveda, Jr. and Edward Poveda; daughter, Julia Hoopai; son-in-law, Michael Hoopai; and two granddaughters, Avianna Martinez and Isabela Hoopai..
A memorial service is to be conducted on Friday, the 31st of March 2017 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Crandall officiating.
