Albert Hochwald

Born May 30, 1918 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Harry and Viola Hochwald, he was a veteran of WWII serving in the Marines Corps. Mr. Hochwald was an electrical foreman at Frankford Arsenal in Pennsylvania. He enjoyed fishing, boating, model trains, airplanes and cars as well as stamp collecting. He had been a resident of St. Simons Island since 1978. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Theresa Hochwald, a brother, Harry Hochwald and a sister, Beatrice Patten.

Survivors include a son, Bob Hochwald and wife Sandra of St. Simons Island, two grandchildren, Scott Hochwald and wife Renee, and Christine Domonoske and husband Bradley, six grandchildren, Logan Hochwald, Tyler Hochwald, Evan Hochwald, Elyse Corliss, Kyle Domonoske, and Alex Domonoske.

Albert's favorite charities are The Salvation Army and Hospice of the Golden Isles.
