Mr. Reppert was born March 4, 1919, in Morgantown, West Virginia, the son
of Edmund Hare Reppert and Beulah Getty Reppert. He was educated in the

owned coal business, operating mines throughout north central West Virginia
until 1964.

he was named to the board of directors of The Union National Bank of
Clarksburg. In 1964, he joined the bank full time as vice-president, was elected
executive vice-president in 1969, and president in 1972.
During his 20 year tenure as chief executive, Mr. Reppert guided the bank

terms of deposits and operating one of the largest and most respected trust
departments in the state. During that time, Mr. Reppert was appointed a director
of the Baltimore Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, a position
he held for 6 years. In the '1980's, he took the lead in forming Union Bancorp of
West Virginia, Inc. and was instrumental in negotiating its merger with Key
Centurion Bancshares, Inc., making Key the largest bank holding company in
West Virginia. He remained as chief executive officer for Key's northern region
until his retirement in 1992. Union National is now part of J. P. Morgan Chase
Bank, N. A.
