Alma Elizabeth Jackson

November 8, 1949 – August 30, 2026

Beth, 76, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully at home August 30, 2026. Her presence will be missed dearly.

Beth was born in Baker, Montana to Herbert Alfred Sparks and Gloria Peabody Sparks. She graduated high school in Red Lodge, Montana and attended beauty college in Billings, Montana.

In Billings, she met and married R. Vernon Jackson, Jr. of Blythe Island who was serving in the Air Force and stationed in Glasgow, Montana.

Beth is survived by her husband Vernon of 57 years, four children, Kari Wells (Terry), Teri Fendig (Bruce), Jason Jackson (Desiree), A.J. Jackson (Allie), three grandchildren, Mykaila, Claire, and Jack, two great granddaughters, RaeLynn and Alyvia.

Beth was a dedicated housewife; she owned Beth’s Beauty Shop on Blythe Island for many years. She loved entertaining family and friends. Her hobbies included baking, quilting, walking and 5K race events. In retirement, she and Vernon traveled the country between Brunswick and Montana.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles.
