Mrs. Vandine was a native of Washington, D.C. and had been a resident of Glynn County for the past 19 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of St. Simons.
Survivors are three daughters, Joan C. Cone of Brunswick, Sandra Lee Milheim of Houston, Texas and Sharon Lauersdorf of St. Simons Island, a son, Harold Forrest Sowders of Atlanta, Ga., 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren
Memorial Services and burial will be held at a later date in Texas.
The family request contributions to the First Baptist Church of St. Simons Island.
