Born October 24, 1957 in Alton, Illinois, to the late Clarke Duane and Marcella Winifred J. Clayton, he was a US Army Veteran. Mr. Clayton had been a resident of Glynn County for 20 years. He was a pharmacist with SGHS Brunswick Campus. He enjoyed Scuba Diving, Baseball and golf.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Lucy Clayton of St. Simons Island, three children, Bethany Clayton of Rome, GA, Daniel Clayton of Salt Lake City, UT, and Genevieve Clayton of Santa Fe, NM, two sisters, Sarah Clayton of Goodyear, AZ, and Judith Fox, of Santee, CA, two brothers, Matthew Clayton of Lacy, WWA, and David Clayton of Surprise, AZ, several nieces and nephews.
