Mrs. La Cross was a native of Brunswick and had been a resident of McIntosh County for the past 23 years. She was a graduate of Glynn Academy and retired from Brunswick Pulp and Paper Co after 27 years. She was a member of the Methodist Faith and loved fishing, gardening and loved animals.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford LaCrosse and her parents, Willie G and Cassie Poppell Chancy.
Survivors are a step-daughter, Penny Lewis of Savannah, Ga., a nephew, Gerald Chaney of Key Largo, Fl., and a niece, Annette Kingsolver of St. Simons Island and s three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Friday 11/26/10 in the Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Earl Parrish officiating.
The family request in lieu of flowers contributions to the Heartland Hospice, Brunswick, Ga.
Edo Miller and Sons in charge of arrangements.
