I was searching for George's name on the internet tonight to thank him for all the advice and assistance he had given me over the years. He had a very positive influence on me and I viewed him as a role model. His wisdom helped me change my life and to do a better job in raising my family. I regret that I waited too long to thank him.

B. George Belofsky...New Your State Police, Federal Agent, and all around class act! A great cop, a good family man, and a friend to all (except the bad guys). Every badge that knew him, was better for the experience. George, we'll show-you as 10-76 to your much deserved heavenly reward!

It has been such a pleasure working with George as a role-player. He spoke so fondly of his "bride" and family. "Never Better" was his response to a greeting, and he was the very essence of a gentleman. He was loved and admired and will hold a special place in our hearts. Susie and Ken Koller

Dear Marilyn & Family,
Please accept my sincere sympathy during this most difficult time. I was so surprised to see George's obituary in the newspaper Saturday, and I felt very saddened at the news. I thought a lot of George,as he was one of my favorite clients, and I so enjoyed working with him. I will miss him very much.

I enjoyed meeting the family tonight at the visitation, and you can all be sure that George's condition at this very moment is "never better"!

God bless each and every one of you with the peace that only He can give.

Most Sincerely,

Cheri and Don Nesbitt

My sincere condolences to the Belofsky family on the passing of one the the finest men ever to grace to halls of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, the ranks of the NYSP and the U. S. Coast Guard. To many of us, George was more than a friend, he was a comrade in arms and a dear, dear co-worker, who cared not just for the mission, but also the men and women he had the responsibility to train and mentor. Having had the privilege to speak at George's retirement at FLETC, I look back with great pride in working with one of the finest law enforcement officers and true patriots of this generation. Rest in peace George, you will not be forgotten.
