

June was born September 9, 1944 in Brunswick, Georgia the daughter of the late Edward Bernard Lott and the late Mary Lucille Lott. She graduated with the class of 1962 at Glynn Academy in Brunswick, Georgia. June was the loving wife of Edward Nevar for forty years. She had resided in Jacksonville since 1980. Having chosen to be a career military family wife with her husband the family, they often moved from time to time, in and out of the country. Even when stationed in faraway places, she still referred to Brunswick as home. June as well as being a faithful wife and loving mother, she was a retired customer service representative for CitiBank in her home of Jacksonville Fl.
June was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Bernard Lott and Mary Lucille Lott; her sister, Mary Joanne Lott. Left to cherish her memories are her devoted husband, Edward Nevar; a son, Jeff Edward Dotson and his wife Cheryl Mary Dotson; her daughter, Cynthia Ann Trafelet; three grandsons, Gerald Edward Matthew Delack, Jacob Aaron Dotson, and Andrew Wade Trafelet; one granddaughter, Jenny Elizabeth Dotson. She is also survived by her seven wonderful great grandchildren.
June had many interests and things she loved to do. She loved to read, taking a dozen books at a time out of the library every few weeks. She was a member of the Daughters of The American Revolution. Along with maintaining a beautiful landscaped home, throughout the years she did many different kinds of arts and crafts. Things like crocheting, needle point, pottery, seashells, toothpick ball christmas trees, genealogy, and Brunswick historical research. The National Smithsonian in D.C. even wanted a rug that she had woven out of wool. She also had quite a basket weaving business at the Naval Base in Puerto Rico and opened up a Craft Boutique in Jacksonville Beach. She lived a very full and interesting life. June will be missed by all who knew and loved her, her family will have many fond memories to cherish for years to come.
