Betty was born on April 16, 1939 to Henry and Letha Dykes in Montgomery County Georgia. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved God with all of her heart and served the Lord faithfully.
She is predeceased by her loving husband Albert Smith; brothers, Richard Dykes and Roy Dykes; sisters, Lelia Crosby and JoAnn Whitney.
Survivors include her daughters, Terry Cox and Kimberly Thompson (TJ); grandson, Canon Thompson; brother, Hank Dykes; sister, Ruby Carroll; also many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 15th, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at Edo Miller Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. February 16, 2022 at Christian Renewal Church, Brunswick. Burial will follow at Chapel Park Cemetery.
