Beverly Ann Drury, a longtime resident of Camden County, Georgia, passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 82. She was born on December 12, 1943, in Jacksonville, Florida, and spent her life creating memories and sharing her love with family and friends.
Beverly was a hardworking woman who held several jobs throughout her life, including working at Citizens State Bank for more than 10 years. She took pride in her work and in the life she built for herself and her family.
Her greatest joy was her family. Beverly was the loving mother of three children: two sons and one daughter, David (Shirley) Drury, Steven (Joan) Drury, and Donna (Raymond) Drury. She was also blessed with eight grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, all of whom were an important part of her life and legacy. She is also survived by two sisters.
Beverly enjoyed sewing, ceramics, and crafting. These hobbies allowed her to express her creativity and make special things for those she loved. Her hands were often busy creating, and her love for her family was evident in the many ways she shared her talents and time with them.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Drury; her parents, Sidney and Mildred Johnson; and her grandson, William “Billy” Dean.
Beverly will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her creative spirit, and the memories she leaves behind. Her life was a blessing to those who knew and loved her, and her legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who hold her dear. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she shared will remain in the hearts of her family forever.
Family and friends are invited to gather to honor Beverly’s life, celebrate her memory, and say their final goodbyes at Homeward Cemetery on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at noon. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Raymond Drury and Jason Dean will officiate the service.
