Bonnie Faye Tait

Bonnie Faye Moore Tait known affectionately as "Nana", passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026, in Brunswick, Georgia. Born in 1932 in Gary, Texas to Louis and Betty Moore. The family moved to Brunswick in 1940 where Bonnie graduated from Glynn Academy Class of 1949. After graduation, Bonnie went on to work for Sea Island CO. and several doctors in Brunswick as a highly skilled bookkeeper.

In 1953 Bonnie married the man of her dreams Hugh "Spencer" Tait, they coincidently shared the same birthday! Together they raised four children. For thirty-five years, Bonnie and Spencer owned and together operated Tait Feed and Seed Co. in Brunswick and Sterling, leaving a legacy with the community.

Bonnie was a devout Christian and a member of Grace Harbor Church of Christ and First Baptist Church of Brunswick. Bonnie's relationship with her church families was a great comfort and joy in her life.

Bonnie is predeceased by her parents, her husband Spencer, daughter Marsha Tait; son Trey Tait; siblings, Colleen Sellers, Leland Moore, Charlotte Lair, and David Moore.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Ann Morgan; and her son Tim (Nancy). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jennifer; Jayson (Becky) and Jeff Stewart; Amber Thornton (Matt); Tyler Tait; Derek, Matt, and Allie Morgan; Eliza Buice (Ryan) and Spencer Tait; as well as 11 great-grandchildren.

Bonnie will be fondly remembered for her welcoming home and her wonderful gift of warm and caring conversations with all who walked through her front door.

Visitation will be held at Edo Miller Funeral Home in Brunswick Ga on July 20, 2026, at 10:00am. Services will follow at 11:00am.
