

Bruce Faircloth passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2012. He was born in Douglas, GA in 1925 and graduated from Douglas High School. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.A.B. Faircloth. He worked in the A.J. Jones Shipyard during World War II then attended the University of Georgia. Mr. Faircloth returned to Glynn County to work for Sam Altman then went into business for himself as the owner of B.F. Custom Interiors until his retirement. Mr. Faircloth served on the board of the Brunswick Community Concert Association for over 50 years, serving two different terms as the group’s president.
He is survived by his wife: Jane Lou McLeod Faircloth; a daughter: Jane Lou Mason (Joe) of Marietta, GA and son: Fletcher Faircloth (Sharon) of Chattanooga, TN. He had two beloved granddaughters: Margaret McLeod Mason and Jessica Lyon Faircloth.
Funeral services will be held at 10AM at the First United Methodist Church of Brunswick on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 with Rev. Jim McIlrath officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery in Pineview, GA.
