My heart goes out to Shirley, Ed, Fran and the rest of the family. Roy was a special person in my life who taught me many things when I worked for the newspaper. We had a lot of fun but still got the job done. It was always a pleasure to see and visit with him after his retirement. Our community was very blessed to have he and Shirley. May he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Roy's death. I remember him fondly from my childhood in Perry and more recently when we came to Perry to visit during the sesquicentennial. Thinking about and praying for Shirley, Ed and family and Fran and family and the rest of those who loved Roy.
