Burnie "Tommy" Tucker Jr.

Burnie “Tommy “Tucker, Jr., 74, of Brunswick departed this life Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at his residence. Graveside services will be conducted at 9:30 AM Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Chapel Park Cemetery with Reverend Bob Bartlett officiating. Thomas Tucker, Les Hall, Rusty Tucker, Eddie Smith, Scott Buchans, and Jason Rotz will serve as pallbearers.

Born December 24, 1944 in Brunswick, Georgia, to the late Burnie T. Tucker, Sr. and Eva Lois C. Tucker, he was a graduate of Glynn Academy Class of 1965. Mr. Tucker was a lifelong resident of Glynn County and was of the Baptist Faith. He was the former owner and operator of Allstate Pest Control. Mr. Tucker enjoyed playing video games, spending time with his family, fishing and taking care of others. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Sharon Tucker.

Survivors include a daughter Shannon Hall and husband Les of Waynesville, a son Thomas Tucker and wife Sherry of Clarksville, TN, five grandchildren, Heather Hall, Taliyah Tucker, Jalen Tucker, Jazaharia Tucker, and Jaden Tucker, two brothers, Russell Tucker and wife Cindy of Brunswick, Darrell Tucker and wife Jackie of Gilbert, WV, a sister Deborah Crouse of Elton, MD, and many nieces and nephews, including Shyla Hancock.
