Wilber sold me a Triumph motorcycle in 1966 while I was still young and invincible. At that time, I also needed a good helmet because I wasn’t entirely foolish. I didn’t have the money for the first class Bell helmet he offered to sell, but I did have something to trade. I offered to trade a 1911 Colt 45 for the helmet. He said ok. Later on when I wrecked the motorcycle I was glad to have been wearing that helmet. Wilber very literally save my life.
