Charles Vann Sr.

Mr. Charles Vann Sr., 62 of Brunswick, Glynn County, Georgia, passed away at the South East Georgia Health System Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Mr. Vann had recently lost his wife of thirty-nine years, Rilla Vann, who passed away a few weeks ago. He is survived by his children, Loretta L. Mitchell (Ernest) of Brunswick, Charles Vann, Jr., of Florida, Leonia Leeann King (Michael) of Texas, Kelly Jean Spinks (Kim) of Lancaster, SC and John Pauly Spinks (Miranda) of Liveoak, Florida. Charles also leaves behind nineteen grandchildren, a sister Mamie Wambles, and a brother Leonard Vann.

In addition to his wife Rilla and his parents, Jonie and Leonia Floyd Vann, Charles was also preceded in death by three sisters, Ophelia Johnson, Louise Gaut and Elaine Vann; and three brothers, Roy Vann, Wes Vann, and Royce Vann.

Mr. Vann was born on the 1st day of March, 1951, in the State of Florida. After leaving Florida, he and Mrs. Vann relocated to Brunswick where they made their home in New Hope Plantation.

The arrangements for Mr. Charles Vann have been entrusted to Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home and Oglethorpe Crematorium.
