

Cheryl Lynn Finn, 79, of Brunswick, Georgia, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026. Born on December 24, 1946, in Brunswick, Cheryl was a lifelong resident who cherished her community and the people in it.
A proud graduate of Glynn Academy, Class of 1964, Cheryl was known in her youth for her energy and school spirit. She was an accomplished athlete, participating in tennis and serving as a cheerleader, and was also an active member of the student council. Her enthusiasm and dedication in those early years carried throughout her life.
After high school, Cheryl devoted herself to her family as a loving wife and mother, roles she held closest to her heart. Alongside raising her family, she built a long and successful career in the computer industry, balancing professional achievement with her unwavering commitment to those she loved.
Cheryl found joy in life’s simple pleasures—reading, crafting, and spending meaningful time with friends and family. Affectionately known as the “Craft Queen,” she had a creative spirit that touched many lives. She was rarely seen without her signature red lipstick, a reflection of her vibrant personality and timeless sense of style.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Tempie Long, and her brother, Bobby Cannon.
Cheryl is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Kim Evans (Keith) and Kirsten Dixon; her cherished grandchildren, Shaina Rentz, Bekka Clary, Kadie Lane, Korey Fraker, and Jacob Dixon, sister Joyce Manor(Bob); as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of extended family and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a Saturday at 11am at St. Mark's Towers to honor and remember Cheryl’s life and legacy.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
