Daniel was the proud owner of Dixie Dan's Automotive in Brunswick, a business he operated for more than 30 years. Through his work and everyday life, Daniel became known as a helpful, caring and generous man who was always willing to lend a hand. He had a fun-loving personality, a natural charisma and a way of engaging with others that made him memorable to everyone who knew him. Above all, Daniel was a devoted family man who treasured the people closest to him. He will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
In his spare time, Daniel enjoyed bowling, flying RC planes, taking his side-by-side off-roading and tinkering with just about anything he could get his hands on. He also had a special enthusiasm for Halloween and loved decorating his yard, bringing his own creativity and excitement to the season.
Daniel's love extended to his beloved dog, Tuko, who held a very special place in his heart and was a cherished companion.
He leaves behind his parents, Daniel and Irene Gelinas; his loving wife, Pamela Gelinas; his daughters, Cynthia Hjelmaa and Kayla Vaughters; his son, William Kehoe; his sister, Trisha Parker (Eric Goodrich); nephews, Matthew, Braydon, Zachary and Nathan; and many other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
