David Daniel Carter III

David Daniel Carter III, 35, of Hortense, departed this life Monday, May 10, 2016 at Hospice of The Golden Isles. Memorial services will be held at 11Am Friday, May 13, 2016 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Joey Chancey officiating.

Born December 10, 1980 in Brunswick to David Daniel Carter, Jr. and Cindy L Rykard, he was employed with International Auto Processing. He attended schools in Glynn and Brantley Counties and had been a area resident all of his life. Mr. Carter was an avid fisherman and enjoyed riding 4 wheelers and spending time with his children and family. He was preceded in death by a brother Justin Lewis Carter.

Survivors include his wife Mindy H. Carter of Hortense, a son, Owen Christopher Miller, and a daughter, June Castle Carter, both of Brunswick, two step children, Abriel Hunt and Daniel Horne of Brunswick, his mother, Cindy L. Rykard of Hortense, father, David “Bud” Carter and wife Michelle of Lulaton, a brother, James D. Cox of Lulaton, maternal grandmother, Mary Lou Moore of Hortense, several beloved aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews including Austin Carter who lived with David, and beloved friend, Damion Lampkin of Brunswick.
