

David Bartow Cook, went to be with the Lord on Monday Morning, June 11, 2012 at the age of 84. David accepted Christ as Savior at the age of 6. He faithfully attended Church all his life and was a devoted member of First Baptist Church, Brunswick for over 40 years serving in many capacities. He attended Boys High School in Atlanta; served in the U.S. Navy during W.W. II; and also served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. David graduated from the University of Georgia with a Law degree and became a special agent for the FBI. He worked in Buffalo, N.Y., New York City, N.Y., and Brunswick, Ga. He retired after 25 ½ years of service as a Federal Agent.
David is survived by his wife, Dottie Cook and daughters, Ann Bryant (Charlie), Elaine Reynolds (Gary), three grandchildren, Tori Easom (William), Danielle Reynolds and David Reynolds and three great grandchildren, Ayden, Brooklyn and Chelsea Easom.
We were very blessed to have known such a loving and devoted husband and father.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday June 14th at 2:30 pm at the First Baptist Church of Brunswick with Rev. Jim Wigton officiating.
Active pallbearers will be Windell Branch, Murray Poole, David Tucker, Cecil Dugger, Raymond Mock and Henry Harvey
Honorary pallbearers will be; Rev. Jim Crandall and all member of the Dept 5 Sunday School, and Deacons of the Church.
The family will receive friends in the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday night. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church of Brunswick Building Fund or The Hospice of the Golden Isles.
