Debbra Lynn Wirtz, of Brunswick, Ga., passed away Sunday the 27th of May 2018 at the age 46. She was born the 19th of June 1971 in Rutland, VT., to the late Dennis Shorey and Nancy Stewart. Debbra had been a resident of Brunswick for the past 21 years. She graduated from Mill River Union High School in North Clarendon, VT. Debbra was very involved in the Relay for Life. She enjoyed shopping and going on cruises. She leaves many fond memories that will be cherished by all.
In addition to her father Dennis Shorey she is preceded in death by her father- in- law John Joseph Wirtz, Sr. She is survived by her husband John Wirtz, Jr. of Brunswick; mother Nancy Stewart of Rutland, VT; step-mother Jill Shorey of Fairhaven VT; mother- in – law Patricia Wirtz of Brunswick, GA; three brothers Craig Shorey ( Shelbi) of Wallingford, VT., Todd and Moonshine Shorey both of Fairhaven, VT; sister – in – law Karen Hansell (Eric) of CT; brother-in-law Brian Wirtz ( Victoria) of CT; many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Debbra’s memorialization was by cremation, a private service will be conducted at a later date in Vermont.
The family has requested that in lieu of customary remembrances, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia, 4627 US. Highway 17 North, Brunswick Georgia 31525.
