Denis F. Eddy

Mr. Eddy is a native of Ballybunion, Ireland - born December 1, 1937, to the late John “Jack” Eddy and the late Mary “May” McCarthy Eddy. Denis immigrated to The United States at the age of 19 and had lived both in Philadelphia, PA and Cinnaminson, NJ. He was the previous owner of Sign-A-Rama in Turnersville, New Jersey, and had retired to live in St. Simons Island for the past thirteen years.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Eddy was preceded in death by his son Mark Eddy, brother John Eddy, two sisters Patricia Wozniak and Anne Wozniak.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years Joan Eddy of St. Simons Island, GA; Daughter Sharon Toscano and her husband Nick of St. Simons Island, GA; Son Brian Eddy of Cinnaminson, NJ; Daughter-in-law Lisa Eddy of Marlton, NJ; Three brothers James Eddy of Stuart, FL, Michael Eddy and his wife Florence of Pittsburg, PA; Gene Eddy and his wife Dena of Hammonton, NJ; Sister Mary Kenneally and her husband John of Springfield, PA; Sister-in-Law Janet Eddy of Stockton, CA; Brother-in-Law Fred DeRatto and his wife Barbara DeRatto of St. Simons Island, GA; Granddaughters Julia Toscano of St. Simons Island, GA, Gabrielle Eddy and Sarah Eddy both of Marlton, NJ; Grandson Nicholas Toscano of St. Simons Island, GA and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017 at St. William Catholic Church, 2300 Frederica Rd., St. Simons Island, Ga., with MSGR. John Kenneally officiating.
