Devon Alexander Michael Burch

Devon Alexander Michael Burch, 16, of Waynesville, died Saturday, November 23, 2013 at his residence. Memorial services will be held 2PM Sunday, December 1, 2013 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Hanson officiating.

Born June 23, 1997 in Glynn County, Georgia, to Leon Smith and Angela Kay Burch Showalter, he was a student at Brantley County High School. Mr. Burch was a resident of Glynn County for most of his life before moving to Brantley County. He was of the Protestant Faith and was an avid outdoorsman. He also enjoyed construction work, playing guitar and drawing. He was loved by everyone he came into contact with, and touched many, many lives for such a young person.

Survivors include his mother and step father, Angela and Michael Showalter of Waynesville, his father, Leon Smith of Brunswick, two sisters, Audrey Smith and Hanna Showalter, and a brother, Ashton Showalter, all of Waynesville, grandparents, Dan and Pat Burch, and Jim Showalter, all of Brunswick, and several aunts and uncles.
